The Consular and Visa Sections of the British Embassy in Rabat will be closed on Friday 6 and Monday 9 April 2012 for Easter holidays.

Consular Assistance in Morocco

If you are a British Citizen and require non-visa services you can visit the Consular Section of the British Embassy in Rabat between 08h00 - 12h30 Monday - Friday. You can also contact us by telephone on +212 (0) 537 63 33 33.  We are able to answer your calls between 08h00 and 16h15 Monday – Thursday, and between 08h00 and 13h00 on Fridays.  Please note that passport applications can only be made at the British Embassy in Rabat.

If you wish to apply for a birth or death registration, ask for advice on applying for residence in Morocco, or have a consular query and wish to speak to someone in person, you can also visit our Honorary Consulates in Tangier, Agadir or Marrakech. Our Pro Consuls will take the relevant applications forms and fees and forward them to Rabat where they will be processed. Their offices are open as follows:

British Honorary Consulate Tangier :
Monday - Friday 08h30-12h30

British Honorary Consulate Marrakech : 
Our office in Marrakech is currently operating a reduced service.
Please contact the British Embassy in Rabat in the first instance and we will be able to assist in making arrangements for you to see our consular staff in Marrakech.

Monday - Friday 09h00-13h00 (without appointment)
Monday - Thursday 15h00-16h00 (by appointment only)

Overseas Voting

If you have queries about overseas voting you should contact the Electoral Commission or About My Vote. Please note that witnessing registration forms is not a consular function and is not a service we can provide.  You can have your forms witnessed by any other British citizen living overseas as long as it is not a close relative.
